M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark
Welcome to the new Maritime Museum of Denmark
Follow the sloping bridges down into the old dry dock between Kronborg Castle and the Culture Yard and enter an underground museum, designed by the world renowned architectural company BIG.
Here you will meet a colourful world of numerous exhibitions telling the story of Denmark, as one of the leading maritime nations both past and present. The rich collections of the museum are exhibited in dramatic exhibitions with large projections on the architecture. Here you can see, listen and interact as you discover the maritime world.
Take a break in the M/S Café and enjoy a delicious lunch, hot and cold drinks, pastry and sweets.
The museum shop M/ S Cargo is an experience in itself. Here you will find products in interior design, applied arts, books, jewellery, tea & coffee, scents and beauty products, toys, and fashion to fit any budget. Everything is imbued with quality and modern design, relating to the museum's exhibitions. The museum shop is also available as online shop.
